Priority Delivery Service

None of the courier delivery services or the Post Office can offer you a better service than we can here at Flower and Plant Works. Standard delivery is just £5.99 for UK wide delivery. If your delivery is local to our shop you can choose the delivery slot within a 3 hour band for just £2 extra. Other relay companies and parcel delivery firms may want to charge you extra for Saturday delivery. Some even charge extra for a same day delivery- but we don't! Also we deliver to you directly. Your flowers won't be left at a depot or locked in a delivery van overnight. All our flower orders are freshly made then delivered in person by our experienced delivery team.

New Product - The Posy in a Bag

Designed originally for hospital to be kept in the carrier, we are sure this will be a winner for many different occasions! A pretty posy in oasis, wrapped in crisp cellophane and delivered in a strong gift carrier, this gift just needs to be kept topped up with water. Perfect when you need flowers, but a larger handtied or arrangement is just too big, this is a top quality 'Credit Crunch Bargain Bunch' with prices from just £19.95. It doesn't need any further arranging, it is really stable, and can be carried easily either by hand or when transporting it home in the car. Find it in the arrangement section on this website.

New Member of the Delivery Team!

We would like to extend a warm welcome to the newest member of our delivery team Dave Connolly. A local lad who knows the area like the back of his hand, Dave has taken quickly to his new role. "I never realised how involved a job such as this could be - but it beats welding any day!", said Dave after his first week. "He's really fitted in well with everyone, staff and customers alike", said Barbara, who was responsible for his recruitment. "It feels like he's been with us for ages. A great choice!".

Top of the Tree!

Debbie Hughes – senior florist here at Flower and Plant Works is celebrating her success as Floristry Student of the Year 2009 for the Higher Diploma in Floristry at the Welsh College of Horticulture. Debbie has worked at Flower and Plant Works for over 16 years and used her extensive retail experience in conjunction with the very latest floristry skills and techniques to obtain the highest coursework marks for the 2009 qualifications.

Most people don’t realise quite what is involved in being a qualified florist. Debbie has been studying throughout her floristry career and is delighted to receive this award for all the hard work she has done this year. Customers of Flower and Plant Works will have seen the fruits of Debbie’s labour throughout the year as she develops new styles of arrangements and showcases the latest floristry techniques in the shop.

Owners Barbara Monks and Amanda Canning are delighted with Debbie’s achievements. Working full time and doing this course has been a big commitment for Debbie and an investment for the business in supporting her this year. It is Flower and Plant Works commitment to training, the dedication of the team and especially Debbie’s hard work that helps keep Flower and Plant Works at the very top of the floristry tree.
